Great value on the bundle

I was looking for a good backup solution and saw the TeraByte Unlimited Bundle. It included Image for Windows and BootIt Bare Metal, which was exactly what I needed. The bundle price was way better than buying them separately, saving me a decent chunk of change. Felt like I got a really good deal for the money. Definitely worth it for anyone needing multiple tools.

Decent software, minor hiccup

I bought the TeraByte Drive Image Backup and Restore Suite. The software itself is robust and performed as expected for system backups. The interface is a bit dated, not super intuitive at first glance, but I got the hang of it after a few tries. Download and installation were smooth. My only minor gripe was that the registration key took about an hour to arrive in my email after purchase, which felt a little slow compared to other digital purchases I've made. Overall, it's solid, and it does what it claims, but a more modern UI and faster key delivery would make it perfect.

Good basic backup software

I grabbed the Image for Windows software last week. Installation was straightforward, and I had it running in a few minutes. I needed something simple to back up my main drive, and this did the job without any fuss. Felt pretty good about the whole process, honestly. Didn't hit any snags.

Reliable as always

I've been using TeraByte products for years, mostly Image for Windows. This time, I upgraded to the latest version, and the experience was just as consistent as my previous orders. The upgrade pricing made it easy, and my registration keys were available instantly. It's comforting to know I can count on them for reliable backup solutions without any surprises. That's why I keep coming back.

Totally awesome software

I just got BootIt Bare Metal, and it's fantastic! Setting up my multi-boot system was a breeze with this. Everything worked perfectly right out of the box. I can't believe how easy it was to manage partitions and boot options. This software is amazing and does exactly what I needed. I will totally be buying more from TeraByte Unlimited, and I've already told my tech friends about it!

Anyone know how their refund policy works? Bought software before that was a nightmare to return. Just want to be sure before I pull the trigger on BootIt UEFI.

R Rachel Osei 2 months ago
I think they have a 30-day refund policy, something like that. As long as you don't activate the key on like, 10 computers lol. Check their site, it should be pretty clear.

They're pretty reasonable from my experience. Had an issue with a different product, and they processed the refund no problem. Just gotta follow their steps.

Is it possible to use one license for Image for Windows on multiple machines? Or is it strictly one license per computer?

S Sophie Doyle 1 month ago
Generally, it's one license per computer for their standard products. They do have volume licensing options if you need it for a bunch of machines, like for a business.

P Priya 1 month ago
Nah, single license usually means single machine. If you try to activate it on too many, it'll probably flag it. Check out their site for specifics on multi-user licenses if that's what you need.

Thinking of grabbing Image for Windows. Are there usually any coupon codes floating around, or is it mostly bundles and upgrades for discounts?

M Megan A. 2 months ago
From what I've seen, it's mostly bundle deals or if you're upgrading from an older version. I got a pretty good price when I bundled it with BootIt Bare Metal.

Yeah, promo codes are super rare, like for specific events. Don't hold your breath for a random coupon, better to look at their bundles if you need other stuff too.

how does Image for Windows stack up against Macrium Reflect? I've used Macrium for years but curious if TeraByte is worth switching for.

F Faith 2 months ago
Honestly, both are solid. TeraByte feels a bit more old-school in its interface but it's super robust. Macrium might be more beginner-friendly. Depends on what features you prioritize.

I switched from Macrium to Image for Windows a couple of years ago. TeraByte just felt more reliable for my weird partition setups. Plus, the BootIt tools are awesome if you dual-boot or something. Macrium is good, but TeraByte has some deeper-level stuff going on.

Does anyone know if their upgrade discounts apply to old, old versions? Like, if I have Image for Windows v1 from forever ago, can I still get a deal on the new one?

S Sam Kaur 2 months ago
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do. I upgraded from a really old version of BootIt a few years back and got a discount. Just make sure you have your original license info.

I think as long as it's a legitimate, registered copy, you should be good for an upgrade price. They're pretty good about supporting their long-term users, afaik.
